Saad Youssefi is a renewable energy executive with over a decade of experience working with organizations delivering solar design and engineering, policy, project development and energy storage systems globally. 

His work has led him to travel extensively across the globe and work on various large scale solar projects and initiatives alongside some of the world’s largest utilities and developers but also remote locations in Sub-Saharan Africa. 

Today, Saad is the co-founder and CEO of Batteryze, a battery health diagnostics company focused on prolonging a battery system’s useful life through advanced AI and ML applications. In this capacity, Saad works with electric infrastructure, e-mobility and consumer electronics companies.

Saad is also a published author having co-authored Basics of Energy Storage - A Study Guide for Energy Practitioners. He is an active member of the wider ClimateTech innovation and investor community in the Bay Area. 

As a Board Member and Chief Impact Officer of NorCal Solar, he hopes to engage and bring more organizations and professionals to understand and embrace the opportunities available in the energy transition.
