Sean has served on the Board of Directors since 2014.

He is an award-winning Interstate Renewable Energy Council (IREC/ISPQ) Certified PV Master Trainer and NABCEP Associate Exam Provider. Sean authored the book Solar Photovoltaic Basics and is working on other books for Routledge. Sean is also a NABCEP Certified Solar PV Installation Professional, a NABCEP PV Entry Level Program Provider, a California Licensed Electrician, a California Licensed Solar Contractor, a professor at Diablo Valley College, author and PV instructor who has taught thousands of students in the USA, Philippines, Canada, China, Africa, Mongolia and The Middle East. Sean was on the NABCEP PV Installer Exam Committee and helped author the NABCEP PV Installer Task Analysis. Sean also is on the energy storage committee of the Solar ABCS PV Industry Stakeholder Group.

Sean teaches classes on a regular basis for various institutions, such as Diablo Valley College in California, Kaplan across the USA, The Solar Living Institute in California, MERALCO (the main utility in the Philippines), Solar Universe in California, and for many other organizations.
